Diego and Giulia's wedding in Val di Chiana was a surprise to us.

Our story was one of those impossible stories, even we would have never believed to get here, a big difference of age and different life paths, it's incredible how all this was fundamental for the beginning of everything. He introduced us to a common friend and from there began a gentle courtship that immediately results in a love of true and sincere ones, of those that overcome everything and that go beyond anything and demonstration of all this love was born our little wonder that there he joined and became a family.
Diego's proposal was a simple proposal, full of love and I could never have imagined something more beautiful than that, we had come home from the hospital for a few days, after the birth of our daughter, we were all three on sofa when he asked me to marry him.
So we decided to start planning our Big Day with the help of Giulia Alessandri, a wedding planner specialised in destination wedding in Tuscany. Exactly, we decided to move from Umbria to Tuscany to celebrate our wedding.
The idea was to find a place in the Tuscan countryside where to spend the weekend. When Giulia showed us Tenuta La Fratta we were thrilled!
We fell in love with the simplicity, the peace and the natural beauty of Tenuta La Fratta. The location is in fact something unique and wonderful in its kind, a place to regenerate but at the same time have fun, drink wine and taste excellent Tuscan cuisine. The first written testimony related to the Farm has come since 1208.
all our guests have stayed with us at the Tenuta for 3 days…it was amazing!
The wedding was completely designed by Giulia and she exceeded our expectations. Everything was planned thinking about the territory and the party we wanted to do, a weekend to spend with friends in the middle of nature.
The civil ceremony was celebrated under a beautiful ancient tree. Even there the flowers were spectacular. A hug has been created around the tree itself.
Giulia asked Chiara Sperti Floral Events to create something magical for our big day, something romantic with soft colors but at the same time strong, dreamers! Chiara is definitely an artist in this and she has succeeded perfectly. A Soft linen table runner with natural hues to be placed in the center of the imperial table, some burnished iron candlestick with glass lies and colored candles according to the palette we had chosen, together with the lights that illuminated the walls of the Farm, framing our dream. She used for example some beautiful dahlia purple, jasmine branches, eucalyptus, olive branches and more.
Regarding Photographers we decided for Andrea e Federica, two passionate wedding photographers based in Umbria. They have a very discreet style, documentary and have told our love story in all its sincerity taking us back in every moment of that beautiful day. The photos are really a dream!
The cake was a naked cake made by Amalia, a talented cake designer in the area, for the Farm. Around the cake table, Giulia and Chiara have been able to recreate a setting of incredible nature.

The Bridal dress is a model of Rara Avis with a rigid bodice and embroidered flowers.
